Case Study

A number of newly fabricated pipe-spools required protection for a service life carrying salt water. The pipes ranged in size from 900NB down to 90NB with the largest being nearly 4m in length. After preparation using abrasive blasting to achieve the required cleanliness standard the pipes were cleaned down, brushed and vacuumed to remove all dust. Corroglass 600 was then applied to reach a DFT of 1250microns. Several methods of application were employed including the use of Agmec internal pipe spraying equipment.
